Apple Glazed Walnut and Mushroom Saute

2 tablespoon oil
8-10 cloves garlic; sliced
1 cup mushrooms; sliced
3 tablespoons walnuts; chopped
3/4 cup apple cider
pinch crushed red pepper; optional
salt and pepper; to taste

Heat oil in a medium skillet over high heat.
Add garlic and saute until tender.
Stir in mushrooms and add red pepper, if using.
Saute a minute or so, add walnuts and mix well.
Pour apple cider over the mixture and reduce liquid by half.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot.
