Making Whipped Cream

making whipped cream

Whipped Cream

2 cups heavy cream

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 tablespoon honey

Mix cream with a mixer, slowly adding vanilla and honey.

Whip until the right consistency for whipped cream (being careful not to over whip).

Variation: Add 1/8 teaspoon of almond extract.

  1. I like the idea of adding honey instead of sugar. Emily

  3. Hi Nancy, I am in the process of oiling up the wood furniture (try to once a year). I am using up some furniture oil that I have on hand, but I remembered your post on the olive oil and your pine floors. How are they looking since you did them? Have you done them again since then? thanks

  4. delete this if it is a double comment, my computer went off in its own direction when I hit "post" on my comment. I am in the process of oiling up the furniture (try to once a year) and using up some furniture oil that I have on hand. I remembered your post on using olive oil on your pine floors. I was wondering how they looked and if you have had to oil them again? Sincerely, Emily

  5. This way is so much easier and more practical than spooning vanilla and honey down the cows' throat and shaking the bejesus out of her!

  6. Emily, the olive oiled wood seems to be holing up well. The floors still look nice, and I have used it on furniture and cutting boards as well. I haven't had to do the floors again. So far I am happy with the results!

Lord W....you are so right : ) Nice to "see" you.
